is located in the northwestern part

through the 40 plus Departments
of the University.
Department
of Electronic Science (DOES)
is an integral part of this esteemed
university working on the design and
fabrication aspects of microelectronics
since it's inception in 1984.
Development of a Procedural Layout
Design Language (PLDL),
embedded systems design, Printer interface
ASIC design, microelectronics process
simulators and two dimensional device
simulators including hot carrier and
quantum effects for short channel
MOSFETs, FPGA based Artificial Neural
Networks (ANNs) for
Electronic Nose and automatic target
tracking are among the notable activities
of the department in this field. Fabrication
of various sensors using semiconductor
processing techniques has also been
realized here.
Integrated
Circuit and Information Technology
(ICIT) Pvt. Ltd. has a wide
spectrum of training programs from
Hardware related programming to commercial
software development. The company
has been catering to the ever increasing
demands of IT professionals. Various
courses in VLSI design,
Embedded Systems, DSP and Networking are
being offered through the training
and research centre.
These
courses are designed by experts at
the Department of Electronic Science,
University of Pune in consultation
with leading industries in these fields.
With the state of the art equipment
and carefully designed course contents
